having a career rooted in production has some advantages.  the anal-retentive planning and “measure twice, cut once” mentality comes natural to me.  due to this, from the moment we were engaged, i started researching and planning the wedding (okay, maybe even a few months before…), the vendors, the venues, etc.

not only do i want this to be a great day for both andy and i, but i want us to be prepared for it as much as we can.

a tentative date has been set: may 23, 2010.

we have a few venues in mind and they have been contacted. seemingly, they will be available for this date (yay!) but we remain flexible if they are not, and we have lots of time if something awry were to happen.
